USgHIFU involves HIFU ablation under the guidance of real time ultrasound imaging, which can achieve an uninterrupted visualization of tissue coagulative necrosis during the treatment via gray scale changes in real time.

The ablated lesions demonstrates an echogenicity or gray scale changes in the ultrasound images after the sonication, which enables immediate assessment of patient’s response to ablation, ensuring a safer and more controllable therapy.
